Overview

L'Abri offers a variety of courses ranging from those that focus on team enrichment to those that are more centred on the individual and their development and healing. A traditional L'Abri programme would work with groups ranging in size from 10 to 80 people with a participant to facilitator ration of 10: 1. We believe that working in smaller groups helps the individual feel valued, personalises learning and increases the chance of learning being internalised.

As part of our Five Pillar Strategy we firmly believe that learning is accomplished through doing. We therefore offer a broad range of team enrichment tasks, from seemingly simple to more complex. Although we try to ensure that they are challenging we also allow the group to experience success. Courses are facilitated in English or isiZulu and are pitched at the level of the participants. Facilitators will continually encourage participants to take application of learning back to their everyday environments to create longevity of the L'Abri experience.
